Hi, I’m Cliff, and that’s me on the right. You probably just took a peak at my picture and thought to yourself: Why is he covering his face? Well, the story behind that is… this isn’t about me. Sure my quirkiness and personality might influence your images a bit, but ultimately, this is about you. This is about who you are as a couple, and all of the little things that make you unique. This is about all of the inside jokes that you share with your fiance. This is about the thousands of kilometers you drove to see each other, month after month, while dating long distance. This is about simple, real, genuine love. If you share with me a little bit about who you are, I promise to deliver the most honest, creative, and relevant images you could ever imagine. Now, I think it’s only fair that I share a little bit about myself.

Hi, I’m Cliff. I can appreciate a solid pair of head phones, meals made from scratch, simplicity, and a glove save late in the third. I went to university for finance and economics and graduated with a double major honours degree… it wasn’t for me. Soon after, I took off to work and travel my way through Asia, camera in hand. While traveling, I photographed everything I saw with an editorial approach. I tried to convey not only what I saw, but also how it felt. I found something intriguing about capturing the places I went, and the people I met, in their natural state. I’ve always tried my very best to evoke a sense of place while shooting and laying out my work, so you can really feel like you were there. I take a similar, hands off approach when photographing weddings. I never put a limit on the number of hours of coverage, I feel it’s best if I’m simply yours for the day. I want your wedding day to flow naturally, and for you to enjoy every minute of it. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible, and capture the real moments in a creative and artful way. With a little bit of your help, your wedding images will communicate your relationship on a deeper than face value level. They will capture the real, honest moments, as well as all of the little things that make you unique.
